DESIGN IN THE NEW WAVE
ARE YOU READY TO RIDE IT?
With the increasing interest shown by school students to the field of architecture, we have formulated the Introduction to Architecture workshop for high school students. It is designed for motivated high school students considering a career in Architecture or any design related field. No prior experience is required.
The program introduces students to architectural and interior ideas, principles, and methods of exploring architectural scenarios. Through a sequence of exercises culminating in a final project, the child will study architectural concepts of space, form, function, environment, and technology. During field trips they will investigate architecture and interior spaces along with discovering new materials. The visit will include heritage or architect designed buildings.
The child will be attending lectures and integrated workshops exploring architectural principles including composition, graphic, art, software, interiors, space planning and model making. They will be then applying this knowledge into a real time project scenario.
Individual instruction and regular progress reviews will prepare them for a final project presentation. This will prepare them for their future in Architecture or any other design field. We hope at the end of this course the student will have a better understanding of Architecture and Interior Design.
